Jude stretched out beside Blake. The bed was huge and seemed bigger than the one he’d been given in his former suite. He stared at the ceiling. His brain screamed caution and his heart feared he’d get hurt again, but his libido cried out for Blake. Maybe it was the warm evening or the lights on the balcony, but the night was made for a summer romance. He’d started falling for Blake all over again. The blow job hadn’t hurt, either. His body still vibrated from that moment—even a couple of hours later.

He shouldn’t be with Blake. The what-ifs crushed down on Jude.

Right now, he had to stop thinking and get some sleep.

“Rest,” Blake said. He cuddled closer to Jude’s side and twined their legs. “You’re worrying.”

“I can’t help it.” Worrying was part of his nature. “I’m scared Nathan will be back and Kel will intervene.”

“Let them try. Rachel and Darnell know about the gruesome twosome. It’ll be okay.” Blake nuzzled Jude’s neck. “Focus on the show. We’re going to light up the stage tomorrow.”

“We will.” He had a good team around him and should trust them. Plus, he’d found his way back to Blake. They should be celebrating.

He closed his eyes and allowed himself to dram. One day, he and Blake could have every night like this in their own place and they could be happy.

Why not give the relationship a chance to work?
